objective

to review the performance of the aem executives and determine their next year’s salaries and incentive compensation.

responsibilities

  • conduct aem president performance evaluation
  • give final approval on compensation for president and senior team and provide feedback on compensation for leadership team
  • review salary ranges and compare to market rates provided by consulting firm
  • help determine who is comparative association to determine market rates

  • the current aem chair serves as compensation committee chair

composition

  • current aem officers (aem chair, aem vice chair, ag chair, ce chair, treasurer)
  • immediate past aem chair
  • incoming aem vice chair
  • aem president
  • aem vice president of hr
  • aem legal council
  • there are no term limits

meetings

  • one to two times per year virtually or by conference call.
